Rancho Palos Verdes pop-up art fair to showcase photographic and digital art – Daily Breeze

The group of photographic and digital artists, along with the Palos Verdes Art Center/Beverly G. Alpay Center for the Arts Education, are hosting the PADA Pop-Up Photographic Art Fair on Saturday, November 5.

For the first time, artists from PADA, an arts group within the PVAC, will showcase their work at the art fair which runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the atrium of the Palos Verdes Art Center, 5504 Crestridge Road , in Rancho Palos Verdes.

“Our PADA artists will bring a wide variety and plethora of art, literally something for everyone,” said Maryl Velbeck, PADA artist and committee member. “Everything from underwater fine art to macro art, landscapes, lifestyle art images, mixed media composites and photographic paintings.”

The fair will also feature limited signed additions, framed and unframed prints and art books by PADA artists, as well as photo and art materials.

A free raffle with art photo prints will take place at each hour of the event.

Currently, the art center is hosting the exhibit “Collecting California Art at Gardena High School, 1919-1956,” which runs through Saturday, November 12. 12.
